Businesses and individuals based in or working in the creative industries across Bridgend are invited to join Awen Cultural Trust for our second FREE Creative Industries Network event, exploring the importance, challenges and role of climate justice for the cultural sector.

There will be opportunity to explore what climate justice means, why it is an important area for the creative industries, what meaningful steps businesses and individuals can take to address the issue and why it is so important to funders and local government.

Speakers will include Richard Bellinger, Director of Operations & Community Services for Awen Cultural Trust, Ella Williams of Sustainable Wales, who will be sharing their recent short film ‘Are we sleepwalking into climate change?’, and Julie’s Bicycle – a pioneering not-for-profit, mobilising the arts and culture to take action on the climate, nature and justice crisis.

A selection of hot drinks and cakes will also be available.
