The headsets were available in Bridgend libraries from the week commencing 17th June, with some dates left, giving the people of Bridgend an opportunity to experience virtual reality with the support of library staff.

Virtual reality is an exciting way to experience a story. However, the headsets used in order to provide these experiences are usually expensive, limiting the amount of people who have them at home. By putting them into local libraries across the UK, the BBC are hoping to give everyone the chance to try it out.

Awen Libraries is managed by registered charity Awen Cultural Trust, who provide cultural opportunities to communities of Bridgend County Borough.
