Other Warm Spaces

Bridgend County Borough Council has put together a list of places where residents can always find a warm welcome.

AWEN LIBRARIES

Our libraries will continue to open their hearts (and their doors!) in the usual way to all this winter and here’s a reminder of what we offer as standard (and for free!):

  • Fabulously friendly staff
  • Free wifi and plenty of space to sit, work, read or just relax
  • Newspapers, magazines and of course, plenty of books!
  • Wide activity programme including reading groups, craft sessions, storytimes and much more

You’re always guaranteed a warm welcome at our libraries but this winter it will be even warmer because we will also be offering:

  • Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even cup-a-soup!
  • An enhanced activity programme delivered by our fabulously friendly staff
  • Jigsaws, board games and Lego sets in every library
