A Heartfelt Thanks to our Donors

A Heartfelt Thanks to our Donors

We are truly grateful for the generous contributions of our donors who trust and help us make a positive impact in the communities we work.

We wish to thank Lynne Raymond Martin and Ruth Raymond, American descendants of Edward Jenkins, who emigrated from Brynmenyn to the United States, and Louise Rees, whose late parents Gwilym and Anne Rees of Sully were originally from Brynmenyn.

Their kind and generous donation to Awen Cultural Trust will be used to invest in books, resources and activities within the libraries closest to Brynmenyn, including Sarn, Betws and Aberkenfig, and support our B-Leaf trainees with their work at Bryngarw Country Park.

The American relatives have never forgotten their proud Welsh ancestry and are happy to have the opportunity to give back to Wales. We thank them for their gift, which will make a meaningful difference to the lives of people from their hometown.
