Spooky Success at Bryngarw Country Park

Spooky Success at Bryngarw Country Park

Hundreds of families flock to Halloween pumpkin trail during October half-term.

No tricks, just treats for over 400 families who took part in this year’s Halloween Pumpkin Trail at Bryngarw Country Park.

Families headed out into the park for some seasonal fun, on the hunt for giant pumpkins, which were created by the staff and trainees at Wood-B and Park Ranger Carys.

The children who found the pumpkins, and copied the spooky symbols onto their activity sheet, were rewarded with a small prize and the chance to win a Halloween hamper.

Even the trainees from B-Leaf got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up and spending the week meeting and greeting park visitors.

Thanks to everyone who supported the event by coming along, including the InclusAbility families, and for sharing their fabulously fiendish photos.

This event was funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council.
