Literature Wales Supports Crime Month

Crime Month returns to Awen Libraries this November with funding from Literature Wales.

Rhannu ar

Thanks to financial support from Literature Wales' Inspiring Communities Fund, there will be a ‘killer’ line-up of Crime Cymru authors appearing at library events across Bridgend County Borough this November.

The aim of Crime Month is to celebrate the work of crime fiction, suspense and mystery writers and provide a platform for them to promote their publications within a warm and welcoming library setting.

The authors who will be sharing their latest novels, behind-the-scenes writing secrets and real-life inspirations include: Rob Gittins; Alis Hawkins; Sion Hughes; Philip Gwynne Jones; Chris Lloyd; Sarah Ward; GB Williams and G.J. Williams.

A full programme of events is available here: https://www.awen-libraries.com/2025/10/22/crime-month-2025/
