Bryngarw yn Elwa o Brosiect Coed Sirian Sakura

Mae dros 8,000 o goed ceirios Sakura, sy'n nodi 150 o flynyddoedd o gyfeillgarwch rhwng Japan a'r DU, wedi cael eu plannu mewn mwy na 990 o leoliadau ar draws y DU ers 2019.

Gwnaethom roi croeso cynnes iawn – ようこそ – youkoso – i Keith Dunn OBE, Conswl Anrhydeddus Japan, yn ystod ei ymweliad â Pharc Gwledig Bryngarw yr wythnos diwethaf.

Fe gyflwynodd Mr Dunn chwe choeden geirios Sakura i Reolwr Parc Gwledig Bryngarw, Adam Davies, fel anrheg gan bobl Japan.

Cawsant eu plannu yn Ardd Japaneaidd Bryngarw gan aelodau o Glwb Rotari Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr.

Gobeithiwn y bydd y coed yn denu ymwelwyr ar gyfer dathliadau blagur hanami (gwylio blodau traddodiadol) a phicnics o fewn y parc gwledig.
