Awen has been awarded almost £100,000 in revenue funding from the Welsh Government’s Enhanced Local Sector Support for Museums, Archives & Libraries grant scheme.

The funding will be used to employ two project roles, to convert over 1,000 physical heritage items into a digital format, to develop a local history exhibition to tour Awen’s libraries and venues, and to host the Ogwr History Month 2026.
