Y Muni supports Dementia Action Week

Our Pontypridd venue had a lovely afternoon with Ty Gwenno Care Home staff and residents and Kitsch n Sync Collective.

Y Muni was filled with music, nostalgia and a wonderful sense of togetherness as the venue supported Dementia Action Week.

This event reflects Awen’s ongoing commitment to inclusion: creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to take part, regardless of their needs or circumstances. By offering accessible, dementia-friendly experiences like this, we are helping to reduce barriers to participation and ensure that more people can enjoy culture in a way that works for them.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us. Your warmth and enthusiasm made it such a lovely afternoon, and it was a privilege to bring our community together in this way.
