We are working in partnership with Scott Ritchie Productions to support three home-grown actors with professional roles in this year’s pantomimes at The Met in Abertillery and Maesteg Town Hall.

Osian Clarke from Tycroes, near Ammanford, performed with the Junior Department of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. Osian will be playing ‘Bryn the Horse’.

Julius Tilt has recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a MA in Musical Theatre. He will be making his professional stage debut this December. Julius will be playing ‘Prince Owain’.

Evadne Harris is Welsh actress based in London and South Wales. After completing a foundation course at ArtsEd, she studied Professional Acting at Drama Studio London. Evadne will be playing ‘Rapunzel’.

Richard Hughes, Chief Executive, said:

“Although London offers a wealth of opportunities for actors seeking roles, Wales has a thriving creative industry and regional theatres like ours have a vital role in opening the door to new and often underrepresented talent. We are excited to be working with Scott Ritchie to invest in the rising stars who were born, lived or educated in Wales and give them the chance to captivate our local audiences. We look forward to seeing Osian, Julius and Evadne in the spotlight this Christmas.”

You can support these rising new stars at The Met and Maesteg Town Hall this December.
