Let’s play darts to improve numeracy skills

Trainees at B-Leaf and Wood-B are stepping up to the oche.

Some of the B-Leaf and Wood-B trainees who attend a weekly maths course with Bridgend College are learning through playing darts.

Playing darts offers lots of fun and engaging opportunities to improve numeracy skills, including addition, multiplication and subtraction from 501.

The trainees suggested the activity because a few of them play darts socially but need extra help with the maths.

Thanks to their tutor Chris Roberts for supporting the trainees.
