Awen has been awarded a grant of £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes.

The Awards for All grant will be used to develop a new project called ‘Metamorphosis’, which will be officially launched on International Women’s Day, Sunday 8th March 2026.

This project aims to bring together a diverse group of women of all ages and backgrounds to share their experiences and tell their stories through various creative art forms including visual arts, music, drama, dance and writing. An exhibition of their work will tour venues around South Wales in late spring.
